Mountain Stream Ltd does not, nor never has, retained any customer information for marketing purposes. We do not maintain a mailing list. We have never indulged in email marketing campaigns and have no intention of starting now.
We do retain customer information as required by HMRC. When we raise invoices we are obliged by law to ensure that these are an accurate reflection of customer business transactions, including customer addresses and so on. All customer data provided is treated with the utmost care and respect and solely for the purpose for which it was provided ie to enable us to provide our services and invoice accordingly.
Mountain Stream Ltd does not share any customer data with any “partners” or third parties.
You may notice that many of our pages have data analysis apps and links. We use 2 data analytical companies, Clicky Analytics and Google Analytics. The information they provide is high level and does not in any way identify visitors to our websites. We use the data largely to ascertain what pages customers are visiting, how long they stay, in what, broad, geographical location they are visiting from etc. We cannot tell who you are or where you live from the data. We do not use tracking cookies. We do not know where you have been before visiting our sites or where you go afterwards.The purpose of data analysis, in our case, is for us to understand what products or services visitors are interested in and to help us improve our websites and expand the services we are able to offer.
